Little hands at home; some kind of flashing red-light emergency at Sear's

I've got to get to bed as fast as I can. Didn't get to sleep until after 6:00 this morning and then I woke up before seven. Kept my eyes closed as much as I could and by 9:00 AM had got maybe two hours of very broken sleep and gave up. Wanted to take a nap today, but it didn't happen.

Here is Lynx, back home this evening, after I took Margie and him into town so Margie can babysit him at home.

I just drank too much coffee yesterday, that's all - about a week's worth of consumption in one day. I don't know what got into me. It tasted good and just seemed like a good thing to do on the first day of the year.

Here is a fire truck and some smaller fire department vehicles flashing red lights in the parking lot of Sear's in Wasilla, on my way home from dropping Margie and Jobe off in Anchorage. Look's like someone's day came to a bad end. Or at least an unpleasant one. I don't know. It could even have been a false alarm. A mouse might have been smoking a cigarette beneath a smoke detector.

No cops, no ambulances, so maybe not too bad.

That's it. I'm shutting down and going to bed. I only had one cup of coffee today and I am so tired I expect to sleep a bit better.

I'm not even going to proof read. I usually miss my mistakes, anyway. I proof read right over them, like they aren't even there.

I too miss mistakes when I proofread my own writing -- like in my quilts, I see what should be instead of what is. Hope you get some sleep!
