Reluctant departure, part two: first persuasion does not work

This did not work. Their dad turned on the light and came in. "We've got to go home to the blue house boys," he said. Jobe ran off and disappeared. Kalib sat down on the floor and held his ground. No," he insisted "I want to stay at grandma and grandpas!" His dad put his hand on his shoulder and tried to convince him. Soon, Kalib decided he was tired. "I need to get some rest," he insisted.

Reluctant departure, part one: invisible boys

I back up to yesterday evening, when it came time for the boys to depart. Kalib and Jobe wanted to spend another night here. When they were told it was time to go, they turned off the light in the TV room and then positioned themselves in front of the glowing box in such a way that they thought they might not be so visible to parents anxious to leave.

Thus far today, the boys have been very well behaved. This worries me just a little bit.

Two more boys have joined us for the night… They eat ice cream and watch Goofy on TV.

Kalib and Jobe drink lemonade at The Bell

When it comes to taking a lazy Saturday completely off from blogging, I fear I am not very disciplined. So here is a shot of Kalib and Jobe at the Bell. When Kalib comes to visit grandpa, he always likes to go to the Bell. It's the lemonade – lemonade is the reason he likes to go to Taco Bell. It was chaos.
