I drive through the perilous moose crash area

Here I am, driving home from Anchorage. Sure hope I don't hit a moose. I don't think I will, but hundreds of people do.

PS: I am not posting while I drive. I am actually home now, sitting safely in my office with Jim, speaking of the near past in the present tense.

Now that I am using Instagram, I convert my lens into a coffee mug

I am leaving for Anchorage, and have stopped at Metro Café along the way. Seeing as how I am on Instagram, shooting with my iPhone, I don't need my expensive camera equipment anymore. So I converted my 70 to 200 mm lens into a coffee mug. Actually, this is a gift Jacob and Lavina Gave me for my birthday. It is my second lens mug, Dustinn Craig Gave me a 24 to 105 mm lens mug a couple of years back. That's Kristina serving me, of course.

I step back into the house and find two up

I just stepped into the house after my walk to find two boys up. The third, the littlest and most irrepressibly rambunctious, remains asleep.

Morning walk – short today, old dog barks

I'm on my walk now. This morning's walk will be very short. I need to go into Anchorage later this afternoon and there is quite a bit I want to get done first. This dog has been barking at me for, oh, I don't know… at least a dozen years.
