Right now with the iPhone: Cold and frigid day at Lambeau Field - Chicago warm and toasty

The announcer says it is a bitterly cold day at Lambeau Field, where the temperature is 30 degrees (-1 C) and the New York Giants lead the Green Bay Packers 13 - 10 in the playoff game, but the people are tough, brave and bundled. They are there for their teams.

Last time I checked, here at our house in Wasilla, it was -25 (-32 C). Chicago and I are toasty and warm. We don't care - as long as Caleb keeps hauling in the firewood, and stuffing the stove.

Go, Giants, go!

Unless, of course, you are for the Packers. Then,

"Go, Packers, go!"

It was -26 up the road in Houston and a perfect day for football! I'm a diehard Giants fan, have been for over 30 yrs, so needless to say I am VERY happy! Now my Giants will play my husbands Niners next Sunday. Thats ok, in our 18 yrs of marriage we have faced this before, and so far we've survived....of course we're older and grouchier now so who knows what will happen :0)

After the game I looked a bit like Chicago...coming down from the high of the game I was tired, warm and promptly stretched out on the couch!

Twain - Lisa: Looks like we are all pleasantly chilly.

Next week, everyone here will be rooting for the 49er's. I hope the game starts out good for them and stays good. Caleb gets very angry when it goes bad.
